Applying by disk or email
If you need to register a number of hazardous waste premises at the same time, you can send us an electronic file on a disk or by email. You can register up to 2,000 premises at the same time.
This costs £18 for each premises registered. You can pay by:

If you wish to pay by credit card please ensure you make this clear in the email you send - a member of the hazardous waste team will telephone you to collect your payment. On the bulk application spreadsheet please select BACS as the method of payment.
How to apply
Our systems need you to send us the file in a format called XML.
We have provided an Excel spreadsheet, that will make the XML file for you, and guidance on how to use it:
Save a copy to your computer and ensure you are using the most recent version (v2.0).
You can create your own XML file, if you know how to, as an alternative to using the Excel spreadsheet. Download the schema document which allows you to check that your XML file is correct.
You must complete application form HWRB01 to accompany the XML file.
You can either print the form and complete it by hand; or complete it on your computer, then print and sign it and post it OR sign it electronically and send it by email.
